Former Bulldog, Sports Medicine Surgeon Dr. Zachary Hill Joins Sierra Pacific Orthopedics

Dr. Zachary Hill will join Sierra Pacific Orthopedics, the region’s most preferred orthopedic practice, on Sept. 1. Dr. Hill is a fellowship-trained sports medicine surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of sports-related bone, joint and muscle injuries and conditions. Patients in need of specialized orthopedic care are encouraged to call the practice at 559-256-5200 to schedule an appointment with Dr. Hill at the practice’s Herndon Campus at 1630 E. Herndon Ave.

A Fresno native, Dr. Hill is a former Bulldog and the son of former Fresno State football coach Pat Hill. He has recovered from many of his own orthopedic surgeries, giving him the advantage of experience in the intricate process of rehabilitation. Now, as a member of Sierra Pacific Orthopedics, Dr. Hill will serve as a team physician for the Bulldogs. Dr. Hill will also provide advanced care daily for area patients with bone, joint and muscle needs. His expertise includes:

• Minimally invasive arthroscopic joint repair for the shoulder, knee and hip.
• Knee and hip total joint replacement.
• Nonsurgical orthopedic care, including shoulder, knee and hip injections.

Dr. Hill earned his medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He then attended the University of California, Davis, where he underwent extensive training in orthopedic surgery with an internship and residency. Following his five years of residency training, Dr. Hill completed additional training in orthopedic sports medicine through a fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta. He has previously provided team coverage for Georgia Tech, the Atlanta Falcons and the Atlanta Hawks.
