New Urgent Care, New Doctor at Sierra Pacific Orthopedics' Clovis Campus
Board-certified family medicine doctor and fellowship-trained orthopedic trauma specialist Anirudh Sharma, M.D., will join Sierra Pacific Orthopedics on the opening of its Clovis Campus Orthopedic Urgent Care on Jan. 15. Dr. Sharma will manage the urgent care, seeing patients without appointment for urgent bone, joint and muscle needs. Patients in need of specialized urgent orthopedic care are encouraged to call the practice at 559-256-5200 or walk into their Orthopedic Urgent Care at 2151 Herndon Ave., Suite 105, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Orthopedic Urgent Care is also available in Fresno at the practice’s Herndon Campus on the first floor at 1630 E. Herndon Ave.
Specializing in orthopedic trauma, Dr. Sharma offers experienced care for bone, joint and muscle injuries. With training in both family medicine and orthopedic surgery, Dr. Sharma had advanced expertise for a wide range of needs. He previously served as the curriculum lead and course director of point-of-care ultrasound and urgent care training for the UCSF Fresno family medicine residency training program.
The state-of-the-art Clovis Campus Orthopedic Urgent Care will feature prompt, specialized care from Dr. Sharma as well as on-site imaging for precise diagnostics. Injuries treated at the Orthopedic Urgent Care include:
- A bone, joint, or muscle injury that occurred within the past few days.
- Possible sprained ankle or foot.
- Possible broken bone.
- Sprained knee.
- Injury to hand, wrist or shoulder.
- Swollen joint.
- Sports injury.
- Possible concussion.
- Recent back pain.

Dr. Sharma earned his medical degree at Government Medical College in Patiala, Punjab, India. He also completed his medical internship there before undergoing orthopedic surgery training at Dayanand Medical College & Hospital in Ludhiana, Punjab, India. He then completed a family medicine residency at the University of Manitoba Max Rady College of Medicine in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. In Winnipeg, he went on to complete additional training in orthopedic trauma at Health Sciences Centre and the University of Manitoba as well as adult hip and knee reconstruction training at Concordia Hospital and the University of Manitoba. He is board-certified through the American Board of Family Medicine.
