As an orthopedic surgeon, I have had the pleasure of working with patients of all ages, with a range of needs, for over 20 years. In 2018, I added Lean MD, a medically supported weight loss program, to my practice. This beneficial program teaches people through one-on-one mentorship how to lose weight while eating real food.

Since implementation, I have seen weight loss success for numerous patients. The weight loss achieved has not only helped them from an orthopedic standpoint but in an assortment of other ways as well. Many have seen improved general health, self-esteem, and body image.

To provide more comprehensive services, I recently added EMSCULPT NEO, EMSELLA, and EMTONE applications to my wellness program.

EMSCULPT NEO is a unique treatment that can help with focused muscle strengthening and fat reduction using electromagnetic forces and radiofrequency. On average, results include a 30% reduction in fat and a 25% increase in muscle. Beyond aesthetic benefits, some patients have also reported significant improvement in back pain. This is likely due to the core strengthening occurring.

EMSELLA is a non-invasive pelvic floor strengthening system. Benefits include improvement in stress incontinence, core strengthening, and sexual performance. Because incontinence can be difficult to discuss, many women (especially following childbirth), and men, suffer quietly. This non-invasive treatment is shown to provide an average of 65% symptom improvement, and 95% patient satisfaction.

EMTONE is the third component of the new “EMSUITE” Wellness Center services. EMTONE uses radiofrequency and targeted pressure energy resulting in a 93% visible reduction in cellulite. Who doesn’t want to reduce visible cellulite?
