“I had some high expectations. SPOC and Dr Simons exceeded them. First, SPOC runs like a well-oiled machine. And does so without seeming impersonal. I appreciate that just about everything I needed, from imaging to labs, was right there. Billing went wonderfully. Office staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Just easygoing and good people without a hint of disingenuousness Then to Dr Simons. Matter of fact. Blunt. Knowledgeable. Trustworthy. Seems like he has no ego but there is a large undercurrent of compassion and heart. My operation was today. In the past six hours my knee has felt better than in the last twenty years. ”

“Excellent appointment, it was a follow up to a previous treatment. Gel-1 injections went well and his thoughts about future treatments were positive. He is supportive of other alternatives, such as surgical treatments, but for now this treatment is going better than expected. Dr. Simons is very knowledgeable about newer methods but still realistic about what is possible for future treatments.”

“Dr. Lamour referred me to Dr. Simons for a knee replacement. I had not seen him before and was a bit anxious, but Dr. Lamour assured me he was a wonderful Doctor. Dr. Lamour's office assistant walked me over to Dr. Simons' office to make an appointment. Because I was in so much pain, they worked me into their schedule the next week. Their care and concern was unusual and impressive. As soon as I met Dr. Simons I felt assured and confident in his skills and knowledge. He is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. Due to the medication I was on, he needed to wait 6 weeks before he could do the surgery. All of the staff at Sierra (offices, radiology, lab, etc.) were compassionate, friendly and efficient. In 6 weeks I had my surgery at Fresno Surgery Center. Everything went well and I have had no post op complications from the surgery. My knee functions well and, best of all, the pain is completely gone. I would definitely refer a friend to Dr. Simons, Dr. Lamour and Sierra Pacific Orthopedics. Fresno is fortunate to have such a high-quality orthopedic group available locally. ”

“I had confidence in Dr. Simons from the moment I met him. He is everything you look for in a physician. He is kind, listens to you, super knowledgeable, and a football fan. The surgery went just as expected. I was home the third day after surgery. I needed little pain medication. The recovery was simple. I did the physical therapy recommended for me at home. I have total movement of my knee and absolutely no residual pain. I walked with a walker for over a year prior to surgery and now I walk with no devices. I owe all of this to Dr. Simons. He is a remarkable physician and I recommend him to anyone.”
